As from 1 October 2022 Tannum Family Practice will become a Mixed billing practice.
We have made this difficult decision of no longer being able to sustain 100% bulk billing as the amount set by Medicare does not cover the increasing costs of running our clinic.
The introduction of Mixed billing means we will have both private and bulk billing options.
Patients Eligible for Bulk Billing
Children Under 16 years of age
Concession card holders
Pension card holders
Defence Veteran card holders
All other patients will be billed at time of visit.
Fees can be paid via cash, eftpos or credit card and we will transmit direct to Medicare so your refund gets processed back to your nominated account.
Our email system is not continuously monitored. Please do not send any urgent requests, documentation or appointment requests via this method. Always ring reception.
